Spa Days and Occasions
Spa packages and spa days
A half day with two services and nothing else on the calendar is one of the better gifts a person can be given, including to themselves.
Wellness Origin can combine services into a single visit, such as a facial and a massage on the same afternoon, and can arrange visits for two people booked at the same time. Series packages within one service are published on each service page and on the spa menu.
Two kinds of package, and they are different things
People use the word package to mean two different things at a spa, so it is worth separating them.
The first is a series: several sessions of the same service bought together at a lower price per session. Six massages. Three facials. A block of hyperbaric sessions. These are published with pricing on each service page and on the spa menu, and they are what most of our regulars buy.
The second is a spa day: two or more different services in one visit. A facial and a massage. A massage and a hyperbaric session. A facial before an event, with time on the retail floor afterward. We book these regularly by putting the appointments back to back so you are here once and looked after the whole time.
Until those are published here, the way to arrange one is to call (317) 979-1234 and say what you want the day to feel like and roughly what you want to spend. The front desk will build it around the room and provider availability and quote you before anything is booked.
Occasions people book these for
- Birthdays. Usually one longer service and something small added on.
- Anniversaries and couples visits. Two people, same time slot, separate or shared depending on what is available.
- Before a wedding or an event. A facial booked far enough ahead that your skin has settled, not the day before. Our estheticians will tell you the right lead time for the service you pick.
- Mother's Day and the December holidays. The two busiest gifting periods of the year. Book early, because the good time slots go first.
- A hard month. No occasion required. Plenty of people book a half day simply because they need one.
- Small groups. Two or three people coming together for staggered services.
How to put a spa day together
Call the front desk
(317) 979-1234. Tell us the date, how many people and roughly how long you want to be here. If it is a gift, tell us that too, because it changes how we set it up.
Pick the anchor service
Every good spa day has one main event. Usually a 60 or 90 minute massage or a facial. Start there and build around it.
Add the second service
The second one is chosen for contrast rather than repetition. Skin and body. Quiet and active. Our team will tell you which combinations sit well together and which are too much in one afternoon.
We check rooms and providers
Two services in one visit means two providers and two rooms lining up. That is why this is arranged by phone rather than through the online scheduler.
We quote you before booking
You get the total before anything is charged. A credit card is required at the time of scheduling, and multi service visits need 48 hours notice to change or cancel.
Buying one for someone else
Spa days are given as gifts more often than they are bought for oneself. If that is what you are doing, call rather than booking online, because a gift needs different handling: the recipient chooses the date, the value needs to be flexible, and nobody wants to receive an appointment they cannot make.
Gift cards are available at Wellness Origin. All services purchased expire 1 year from the date of purchase and gift certificates are non-refundable. See our gift cards page for details, or call the desk and we will sort it out in a single call.
Questions
Common questions
Do you have set spa day packages with fixed prices?
What we can do today is combine any services on the menu into one visit and quote you the total before booking. Call (317) 979-1234.
Can two of us come at the same time?
In most cases yes, by booking two appointments in the same time slot. Call the front desk so we can check provider and room availability for the date you want.
How far ahead should I book a spa day?
Further than you think, especially for a Saturday, for Mother's Day or for December. Two services in one visit need two providers free at the same time, which is a narrower window than a single appointment.
Can I buy a spa day as a gift?
Yes. Call the desk rather than booking a specific time online, so the person receiving it can choose a date that works for them. Gift certificates are non-refundable and all services purchased expire 1 year from the date of purchase.
What is the difference between a package and a series?
A series is several sessions of the same service bought together at a lower price per session, and those are published with pricing on the service pages. A package in the spa day sense is two or more different services in one visit, arranged by phone.
