Wellness therapies in Carmel: BEMER, compression and consulting
The quieter half of the menu. Equipment you lie down with, a wellness scan, and a consultation with a clinical nutrition consultant who has been doing this since 2004.
Wellness Origin Spa in Carmel, Indiana offers BEMER therapy using a specific pulsed electromagnetic field, NormaTec lymphatic compression for legs, hips or arms, ZYTO Wellness Scans, and wellness consulting led by a clinical nutrition consultant covering nutrition, stress management, energy support and more. Compression sessions are 30 minutes at $47, BEMER sessions are 60 minutes at $60, and phone consultations are available beyond the Indianapolis metro area.
What are the wellness therapies?
This part of the menu is where the equipment lives that does not fit anywhere else. BEMER and NormaTec are both sessions you spend lying down with a device doing the work. The ZYTO Wellness Scan is a short scan included in a consultation. Wellness consulting is a conversation with a clinical nutrition consultant.
They share one thing: none of them is a treatment for anything. Wellness Origin is a day spa, not a medical clinic. We do not diagnose, we do not treat, and we do not make medical claims. What these services are is time, equipment and expertise made available to people who are building a routine and want more in it than a monthly massage.

What is BEMER therapy?
BEMER stands for Bio Electro Magnetic Energy Regulation. It employs a specialized pulsed electromagnetic field, delivered through a mat and applicator system, and it is designed to support general well-being and relaxation routines. During a session you lie comfortably on the mat while the device generates that field. There is nothing to feel in the dramatic sense and nothing to do.
Sessions run 60 minutes at $60, with a 3 pack at $153, a 6 pack at $288 and a 9 pack at $405. People book it as a standing appointment more often than as a one-off, which is why the packs exist.

What is NormaTec lymphatic compression?
NormaTec uses dynamic air compression delivered through sleeves that wrap the legs, hips or arms. The system uses a patented Pulse massage pattern, applying gentle, controlled pressure to the area of concern. You sit or lie down, the sleeves inflate and release in sequence, and 30 minutes passes.
Treatment options are available for either legs, hips or arms, and a session is 30 minutes at $47, with a 3 pack at $134, a 6 pack at $259 and a 9 pack at $376. It is a different service from manual lymphatic drainage massage, which is on the massage menu at 60 minutes and $130. People often ask about both, and the front desk will explain the difference rather than upselling you into the more expensive one.
NormaTec compression therapy is not recommended for individuals with certain medical conditions. It is important to consult with a healthcare professional before using NormaTec compression therapy to ensure it is appropriate for your individual needs.
What happens in a wellness consultation?
Wellness consulting is led by Dr. Eva Vig-Varga, PhD, CNC, a clinical nutrition consultant. Consultations cover topics like nutrition, stress management and energy support. An initial visit runs 90 minutes at $280, and a follow up runs 60 minutes at $180. Consultations include Advanced Level ZYTO Wellness Scans.
Dr. Vig-Varga holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology and is a certified Clinical Nutrition Consultant. Her background includes over 10 years of academic research and peer-reviewed publications in cellular immunology, endocrinology and nutrition. Since 2004 she has focused on personalized wellness consultations. Eric Hall, CNC, has also been a Certified Clinical Nutrition Consultant since 2004 and develops personalized wellness programs around individual nutritional needs, lifestyle and goals.
We also provide phone consultations for clients beyond the Metro Indianapolis area, which matters if you are further out than Noblesville or Zionsville and cannot justify the drive for a follow up.

What is a ZYTO Wellness Scan?
The ZYTO Wellness Scan is offered as part of our personalized wellness consulting services. You place your hand on the ZYTO Hand Cradle for a galvanic skin response scan, which uses subtle energetic signals to measure your body's reactions. Most people do not feel anything during the scan, which makes it a straightforward experience. The ZYTO Elite offers access to an extensive library, including items like homeopathy and environmental factors, represented as Virtual Stimulus Items.
Please note: ZYTO technology is not intended to identify, diagnose, or treat any disease or medical condition. It is a tool for wellness exploration. That sentence comes from ZYTO and we repeat it deliberately, because the scan is a starting point for a conversation with a consultant, not a result you should act on alone.

Questions
Common questions
What areas can NormaTec compression treat?
Treatment options are available for either legs, hips or arms. A session is 30 minutes at $47, with a 3 pack at $134, a 6 pack at $259 and a 9 pack at $376. NormaTec compression therapy is not recommended for individuals with certain medical conditions, and it is important to consult with a healthcare professional to ensure it is appropriate for your individual needs.
How long is a compression session?
The published session length is 30 minutes at $47, with 3, 6 and 9 packs available after creating an account. People who book it regularly tend to buy a pack and treat it as a standing appointment rather than booking session by session. All services purchased expire one year from the date of purchase.
Is a ZYTO scan a diagnostic test?
No. ZYTO technology is not intended to identify, diagnose, or treat any disease or medical condition. It is a tool for wellness exploration. The scan is a galvanic skin response reading taken while your hand rests on the ZYTO Hand Cradle, and it is included as part of a wellness consultation rather than sold as a standalone diagnostic.
Can I do a wellness consultation by phone?
Yes. We provide phone consultations for clients beyond the Metro Indianapolis area. An initial visit is 90 minutes at $280 and a follow up is 60 minutes at $180. Call (317) 979-1234 to arrange one and to check how the ZYTO scan portion is handled for a remote appointment, since that part is done in person.
What is the difference between BEMER and compression therapy?
They are different technologies. BEMER employs a specialized pulsed electromagnetic field delivered through a mat and applicator system, in 60 minute sessions at $60. NormaTec applies dynamic air compression through sleeves on the legs, hips or arms, in 30 minute sessions at $47. Neither is a treatment for a condition. Both are wellness services you lie down for.
Do you still offer the Ionic Foot Bath and Light Beam Lymphatic Therapy?
Call (317) 979-1234 and ask before planning a visit around either one, and the front desk will tell you what is genuinely on the schedule.
Do you make medical claims about these services?
No. Wellness Origin is a day spa. We do not diagnose, treat or make medical claims about BEMER, compression, ZYTO scans or wellness consulting. These are cosmetic and wellness services. If you have a medical question or an existing condition, speak with your own healthcare provider before booking, particularly for compression therapy.
