Hamilton County

One spa, in the middle of Hamilton County

Hamilton County is roughly a square, thirty miles of it, and Carmel sits at the bottom edge of that square with the parkway running through it. That is a useful place to put a spa.

Wellness Origin Spa is at 937 Keystone Way N in Carmel, Indiana, near the junction of 116th Street and Keystone Parkway. From there, Fishers, Westfield, Zionsville and the north side of Indianapolis are all around 15 to 20 minutes, and Noblesville and Cicero are 25 to 30. It is an organic day spa with a full technology menu.

How the county is laid out, and why Carmel is the middle

Hamilton County runs from 96th Street at the Marion County line up to the Tipton County line, and the population is stacked at the bottom. Carmel and Fishers hold most of it, Westfield and Noblesville are growing into it, and Cicero, Arcadia, Atlanta and Sheridan sit further out with more field than subdivision between them.

Three roads do the heavy lifting north to south: US 31, Keystone Parkway and State Road 37. Two do it east to west: 116th Street and 146th Street. Wellness Origin sits where Keystone Parkway meets 116th Street, which is to say on the crossing point of one of each. That is not an accident of marketing, it is just where the building is, and it is the reason the drive from four different towns lands in the same fifteen to twenty five minute band.

What a county wide spa has to carry

A neighborhood spa can specialize. A spa that people drive twenty five minutes to reach has to be able to answer more than one question when they arrive. That is the reasoning behind five treatment rooms covering eight categories rather than two rooms covering one.

On the traditional side there are organic facials, massage therapy, waxing, lash lifts and brow lamination. On the equipment side there are laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, IPL photofacial and carbon peel, laser dark spot work, laser lipo, body contouring, a hyperbaric oxygen chamber, BEMER, NormaTec lymphatic compression and ZYTO wellness scans. Wellness consulting with a certified clinical nutrition consultant sits across both.

All of it is cosmetic and wellness service. Wellness Origin is not a medical clinic, uses no unapproved substances or regulated devices, and does not intend anything on the menu to diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any specific disease.

Picking a town page instead

If you want the route and the detail for where you actually live, there are pages for Fishers, Westfield, Zionsville, Noblesville and the north side of Indianapolis, plus service specific pages for massage, day spa visits, lymphatic drainage, laser hair removal and facials. Each one carries the route from that town rather than a general county map.

If you would rather skip all of that, the phone number is (317) 979-1234 and the front desk will tell you the fastest way in from wherever you are starting, which service actually fits what you described, and whether we offer it at all. Sometimes the answer is that we do not, and you will get that answer straight.

Questions

Common questions

Which Hamilton County towns do you serve?

All of them, from one location in Carmel. Carmel, Fishers, Westfield and Noblesville are the closest, with Cicero, Sheridan, Arcadia and Atlanta further north. Clients also come from Zionsville in Boone County and from the north side of Indianapolis. There is one spa and no satellite locations, so everyone comes to 937 Keystone Way N.

Where is Wellness Origin in relation to Keystone Parkway?

On the west side of it, just north of East 116th Street. Coming along Keystone Parkway, exit at 116th Street and head west, then turn north onto AAA Way or Keystone Way. Coming east or west along 116th Street, look for the turn just before the parkway if you are eastbound, or just after it if you are westbound.

Are you the same as the other Carmel spas?

No. Most spas in Carmel are either traditional day spas with facials, massage and body treatments, or medical spas built around injectables. Wellness Origin is an organic day spa that also runs laser services, body contouring, a hyperbaric chamber and wellness technology, and it carries no injectables at all. Whether that combination suits you depends entirely on what you are trying to book.

How long has the spa been open?

More than twelve years, under the same two owners. Eric Hall, CNC, has been a Certified Clinical Nutrition Consultant since 2004. Dr. Eva Vig-Varga holds a PhD in Biochemistry and Cellular Biology and is also a certified Clinical Nutrition Consultant. Both work in the building. The Google profile currently shows 4.7 stars across 120 reviews.

Do you take appointments the same day?

Sometimes, depending on the service and the room. With five treatment rooms and a single hyperbaric chamber, popular slots go quickly, and Saturday goes first. Call (317) 979-1234 to ask about same day availability rather than assuming from what the online scheduler shows, because the front desk can sometimes place you where the online view cannot.
