What organic means on this menu

Our estheticians use high quality natural skincare products made with herbs and fruits, tailored to your skin type, whether that is dry, normal, combination, sensitive or oily. The tailoring is not a script. The Facial Custom Blend exists precisely because the same botanicals, solutions and masks are combined differently for different skin, and the assessment happens in the room rather than on a booking form.

Wellness Origin is also an authorized Eminence Organics retailer, and the front of the building is a working organic health food and supplement store rather than a display. That means the product your esthetician reaches for during the treatment is on the shelf when you leave, not a similar product from a different line. Members of either monthly program receive 10% off product purchases.

Everything on this menu is cosmetic. Facials at Wellness Origin are not medical procedures and are not intended to diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any specific disease. If you have a skin concern that needs a clinical answer, see a physician first.

Add-ons, and how a facial gets built

Alongside the nine treatments there is a published add-on list: dermaplaning, gua sha, LED mask, skin scrubber, enzyme peel, hand treatment, microdermabrasion, ultrasound, essential oil treatment, high frequency, nano micro-needling, hydrating, galvanic eye treatment, micro needling and radio frequency. Several of those also exist as standalone treatments at the prices above, which is the source of most of the confusion when people read the menu for the first time.

The practical way through it is to book the Facial Custom Blend for a first visit and let the esthetician tell you which add-ons are worth adding on your particular skin, rather than assembling a treatment from a list before anyone has looked at you. Add-on pricing is arranged by phone at (317) 979-1234.

A first facial, start to finish

  1. Arrive fifteen minutes early with a clean face

Makeup will come off at the start anyway, but arriving early means the session begins on time. Late arrivals may have the treatment shortened so the client after you still starts on time, and the full price still applies.

  2. Skin assessment

The esthetician looks at your skin and asks about your routine and your products. This determines which botanicals, solutions and masks go into a Facial Custom Blend, or whether a different treatment on the menu suits you better than the one you booked.

  3. The treatment itself

Cleansing, exfoliation and mask work, with the specifics depending on the treatment. Say something during the session if anything is uncomfortable. Nothing on this menu is meant to be endured.

  4. Aftercare and frequency

You will get product guidance and a realistic frequency. The Facial Custom Blend is recommended every 2 to 4 weeks, micro needling is spaced 4-6 weeks apart, and the Exosome Facial is recommended as an initial series of 2 to 5 sessions 3 to 4 weeks apart. Packages and the $84 monthly program exist for people who follow through on that.

Questions

Common questions

How much is a facial near Indianapolis?

At Wellness Origin in Carmel, a microdermabrasion facial is $98, the Facial Custom Blend and dermaplaning are $125 each, the hydrating, enzyme peel, radio frequency and high frequency facials are $147 each, micro needling is $172, and the Exosome Facial is $775 or $675 for a first session. Three and six session pricing is published on most of them.

How often should I get a facial?

The Facial Custom Blend is recommended every 2 to 4 weeks for exfoliation and hydration. Micro needling sessions are spaced 4-6 weeks apart. The Exosome Facial is recommended as an initial series of 2 to 5 sessions, 3 to 4 weeks apart. Your esthetician will give you a frequency based on your skin rather than a fixed rule.

Which skin types do you work with?

Dry, normal, combination, sensitive and oily. The estheticians use high quality natural skincare products with herbs and fruits and tailor the treatment to your skin type. If you are unsure which category you fall into, that is exactly what the assessment at the start of the appointment is for.

Do you have a facial membership?

Yes. The Facial Custom Blend program is $84 per month and includes 10% off product purchases. It is set up by phone at (317) 979-1234. Billing runs on the first of each month whether or not you come in, the monthly service does not roll over, membership perks cannot be combined with other offers, and cancelling requires 30 days notice.

How long does a facial take?

When you book, ask the front desk for the length of the specific treatment so you can plan the drive back into Indianapolis around it.
