Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy
What Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Supports
A straight description of the mechanism, the room, the schedule and the cost, without the claims you will find elsewhere on the internet.
Hyperbaric oxygen therapy means breathing oxygen inside a chamber held above normal atmospheric pressure. Pressure changes how much oxygen the blood can carry in solution, which is the whole basis of the practice. Wellness Origin offers it as a wellness service in a day spa setting, in 60 and 90 minute sessions, starting at $187.
What is actually happening in the chamber?
At ordinary sea level pressure, most of the oxygen your blood carries is bound to hemoglobin in your red blood cells, and hemoglobin is close to full most of the time. Raising the pressure inside a sealed chamber changes the equation, because gas dissolves into liquid more readily under pressure. That is the mechanism, and it is physics rather than medicine.
A hyperbaric session is that principle applied for a fixed period of time under supervision. You are sealed in, the pressure is raised on a controlled schedule, you rest at pressure for the bulk of the appointment, and the pressure is brought back down before the chamber opens. Nothing is injected, nothing is applied to your skin and nothing is consumed.
Who books hyperbaric time at a day spa?
Our chamber clients tend to fall into a few groups. People who train hard and treat their recovery time as seriously as their training time. People with demanding travel schedules who want a fixed hour in the week that is genuinely uninterrupted. People who are already deep into a wellness routine, who have a nutritionist and a training plan, and for whom chamber time is one more scheduled input. And people who are simply curious about it and want to try an hour before deciding anything.
We will not tell you what hyperbaric oxygen will do for you. Wellness Origin is a day spa, not a medical clinic. We do not diagnose, we do not treat and we do not make claims about outcomes. What we do is operate the chamber properly, prepare you well, and give you an honest picture of the schedule and the cost before you spend anything.

How a series is normally structured
Hyperbaric time is sold in blocks for a reason: it is a practice rather than a single appointment. The published tiers run 1, 3, 10, 20 and 40 sessions, and the per session cost falls at every step. Ten 60 minute sessions are published at $1,620 against a normal cost of $1,870.00, and forty at $6,160 against a normal cost of $7,480.00. The 90 minute ladder runs the same way, from $736.50 for three up to $9,240 for forty.
Our advice for a first time client is to book a single session, see how you find the chamber, and have the package conversation afterward. Nobody should be committing to forty appointments before they have sat through one. If you do move to a package, book the block into the calendar in one go so the room is reserved and the series actually happens.
Questions
Common questions
Is hyperbaric oxygen therapy at a spa the same as a hospital program?
No, and we are careful about the distinction. Hospital based hyperbaric programs are medical services delivered under physician direction for specific referred purposes. Wellness Origin operates in a day spa setting as a wellness service. We do not diagnose, we do not treat and we do not accept referrals. If you need a medical hyperbaric program, your physician is the person to speak to.
Do I need a doctor's note?
We do not require one, but we do require a consultation with our team, and we will always encourage you to talk to your own physician first if you have any ongoing health concern. That conversation is between you and your doctor. Our job is to explain the service accurately and operate the chamber properly.
How much does it cost?
A single 60 minute session is published at $187 and a single 90 minute session at $280.50. Packages of 3, 10, 20 and 40 sessions are available at both lengths, with the published savings shown against the normal cost on our pricing page. The full ladder is listed there rather than quoted over the phone.
How often do people come?
That is set with our team, not by a rule of thumb on a web page. What the pricing tells you is that the service is designed around repeat use, since packages run all the way to 40 sessions. People on a package typically cluster their sessions rather than spacing them out over months.
Can I try one session before committing?
Yes, and we prefer it. Single sessions are published at both lengths, $187 for 60 minutes and $280.50 for 90 minutes, precisely so that a first visit does not require a package purchase. Book one, sit through it, then have the package conversation with our team afterward. Nobody should be committing to forty appointments before they have done one.
