Lipo cavitation, also called ultrasonic therapy, uses low frequency sound waves applied to targeted areas, creating vibrations within those areas. At Wellness Origin it is one modality inside our combined body contouring service rather than a standalone booking. That one hour session, focused on one area, is published at $125.
What lipo cavitation is
Ultrasonic therapy uses sound at frequencies below the range humans hear. A handpiece is worked over a targeted area and delivers those low frequency sound waves into the tissue beneath, where they create vibration. That is the mechanism as we describe it, and it is the whole of what the modality does.
The sensation is unusual the first time. There is no heat and no discomfort, but many people hear a faint high pitched tone during the session, which is a normal consequence of ultrasound near the ear rather than a sign of anything happening. Your technician will mention it before starting.
Why it is sold inside a combined session
Our body contouring service combines four modalities into a single one hour appointment focused on one area: lipo cavitation, radio frequency contouring, cupping and red light therapy. They are delivered in sequence by the same technician rather than sold as four separate bookings.
That is a deliberate structure. Booking four individual appointments to receive the same four modalities would cost you more and take four times as long, and the combined session is designed as a multidimensional approach rather than a menu to assemble yourself. - Individuals with implanted devices, for example pacemakers or insulin pumps.
- Individuals with a seizure disorder.
- Anyone who has not disclosed their medical conditions at consultation. Please tell us. This is a safety matter, not paperwork.

Consultation
Required. You will be asked about medical conditions and implanted devices, and about which single area you want the session focused on.
One area of focus
The session is built around one area. Choosing three areas and splitting the hour between them is not how it works, and your technician will steer you toward one.
The four modalities in sequence
Lipo cavitation, radio frequency contouring, cupping and red light therapy, delivered across the hour by the same technician.
Marks from cupping
Temporary circular marks where cups were placed are normal. Tell us in advance if you have an event coming up.
Water afterward
Drink water and carry on with your day. There is no downtime built into this session.

Wellness Origin is a day spa and not a medical clinic, we do not diagnose or treat anything, and any provider giving you a guaranteed outcome is overreaching.
Are there side effects?
The most commonly noticed effects of the combined session are temporary circular marks from the cupping modality and warmth during radio frequency. Body contouring is not recommended for people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, who have implanted devices such as pacemakers or insulin pumps, or who have a seizure disorder.
How many sessions do people book?
Packages are published at 3, 6, 9 and 12 sessions, which brackets the range most clients choose. Your technician will discuss a plan at consultation. All services expire one year from the date of purchase and service purchases are non refundable.
