Cupping Therapy
An enquiry page. Cupping is used here, but not as a service you can currently book on its own, and we would rather say so than pretend otherwise.
Cupping involves placing cups on the skin to create suction, which produces a localized change in pressure. At Wellness Origin it currently appears as one modality inside the combined body contouring session, which is published at $125 for a single one hour appointment.

What cupping is
Cups are placed on the skin and suction is created inside them. That suction produces a localized change in pressure against the tissue underneath. That is the mechanism, described exactly as we describe it, and it is the whole of what happens.
The visible marks that cupping is famous for are a consequence of that pressure change at the skin surface. They are temporary and they are not a measure of anything having gone well or badly. If you are booking anything where you would rather not have visible round marks for a few days, mention it before the session rather than afterward.
Wellness Origin is a day spa, not a medical clinic. We do not diagnose or treat anything, and we make no claims about what cupping produces. What we can describe is the mechanism, the setting and the price, which is what this page does.
How to actually get cupping at Wellness Origin
Two routes. The first is the combined body contouring session, which incorporates cupping alongside lipo cavitation, radio frequency contouring and red light therapy in a single one hour appointment focused on one area. That is published at $125 for a single session, $335 for three, $650 for six, $945 for nine and $1230 for twelve.
The second is to call and ask. If we can schedule a standalone cupping appointment, our front desk will tell you and quote you properly. If we cannot, they will say so. What we will not do is publish a price for a service we have not confirmed we sell, which is why this page reads the way it does.
Body contouring carries its own consultation requirement. It is not recommended for people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, who have implanted devices such as pacemakers or insulin pumps, or who have a seizure disorder, and any medical conditions should be disclosed during the consultation.
Before you book anything involving cupping
- Expect temporary round marks on the skin where cups were placed.
- Tell us in advance if you have an event, a photo shoot or a holiday coming up.
- Wear or bring comfortable, loose clothing.
- Disclose any medical conditions and any implanted devices at your consultation.
- Call (317) 979-1234 if you specifically want cupping on its own rather than inside the combined session.
Questions
Common questions
Can I book cupping on its own?
Today it appears on our menu only as one modality inside the combined body contouring session. Call (317) 979-1234 and ask directly, and the front desk will tell you what can actually be scheduled.
What does cupping involve?
Cups are placed on the skin and suction is created, producing a localized change in pressure in the area underneath. That is the mechanism. We do not make claims about what it produces, because Wellness Origin is a day spa rather than a medical clinic and we do not diagnose or treat anything.
Will it leave marks?
Circular marks where the cups sat are common and temporary. They are not a sign of anything having gone well or badly. If you have an event coming up where you would rather not have them, tell us before the session so we can plan the timing with you.
What does the body contouring session that includes cupping cost?
The combined body contouring treatment is a one hour session focused on one area, published at $125 for a single session, $335 for three, $650 for six, $945 for nine and $1230 for twelve. It combines cupping with lipo cavitation, radio frequency contouring and red light therapy.
Is there anyone who should not book it?
Body contouring treatments are not recommended for individuals who are pregnant or breastfeeding, who have implanted devices such as pacemakers or insulin pumps, or who have a seizure disorder. Please disclose any medical conditions during your consultation so our team can advise you properly.
