Hydrating Facial Treatment
Three steps, one appointment, and an immediate visible difference. The facial to book when something is happening on Saturday.
Our hydrating facial is a three step treatment: gentle cleansing that exfoliates the surface, comfortable suction extraction to clear pores, then an infusion of nutrient rich serums to boost moisture. It is relaxing, has minimal downtime, and leaves an immediate glow. It is published at $147, with three sessions at $397.
The three steps, in order
Gentle cleansing and surface exfoliation
The first pass cleans the skin and exfoliates the surface, clearing the dull layer of dead cells so that everything after it can work.
Comfortable suction extraction
Controlled suction clears the pores. This is the part people expect to dislike and almost universally do not. It is not manual squeezing and it is not painful.
Infusion of nutrient rich serums
Moisture and antioxidants are delivered into freshly cleared skin, which is far more receptive than it was twenty minutes earlier.
Finish
Your esthetician completes the session with products suited to your skin and gives you home care advice.
Straight out the door
Minimal downtime. This is the facial most often booked for the day before or the morning of an event.
Why the order matters
Each step exists to make the next one work. Cleansing and surface exfoliation clear the way. Suction extraction empties the pores. Only then does serum infusion happen, when the skin can actually take it in. Applying good serum to congested, unexfoliated skin is largely a waste of good serum, which is the argument for the sequence rather than for any one product.
It is also why the result is visible the same day. Dull surface material is gone, pores are clear, and moisture has gone in. Skin looks brighter and feels smoother by the time you are back in the car. That immediacy is the reason it competes for bookings with our Custom Blend facial, and the reason it gets booked before weddings, reunions and anything involving photographs.

Who books it and how often
Two distinct groups. The event bookers, who want skin looking its best on a specific date and who come once. And the regulars, who run it as their standing facial because dry or tired skin is their baseline through an Indiana winter and hydration is the thing they keep needing.
For the second group, the package structure is the sensible route: three sessions at $397 or six at $749. For the first group, book a single session and give yourself a few days of margin before the event rather than turning up on the morning of it. Even with minimal downtime, a little breathing room is always a better plan.
Wellness Origin is a day spa and this is a cosmetic treatment, not a medical procedure. We do not diagnose or treat any skin condition. Tell your esthetician about anything you are using at home, particularly prescription topicals, before your session begins.

Questions
Common questions
Is the extraction step painful?
It should not be. This is controlled suction rather than manual squeezing, which is what people are usually bracing for. Most clients describe it as an odd but comfortable sensation. Tell your esthetician immediately if it is more than that and the settings will be adjusted.
How soon before an event should I book?
Downtime is minimal, so a few days beforehand is plenty and gives you margin. We would not suggest booking any facial for the same morning as a major event, simply because everybody's skin behaves slightly differently and a couple of days of buffer removes the risk entirely.
How is this different from the Facial Custom Blend?
The Custom Blend is a bespoke facial built around a full skin assessment, using botanicals, nourishing solutions and masks selected for you, at $125. The hydrating facial is a specific three step protocol focused on cleansing, extraction and serum infusion, at $147. Your esthetician will tell you which suits your skin better.
Will it help with dry skin in winter?
The treatment is designed around hydration, and dull or dehydrated skin is the most common reason people book it, particularly through winter. We describe what the treatment does rather than promise a result, because we are a day spa and not a medical clinic. Your esthetician will also talk to you about home care.
How long is the appointment?
Our menu publishes the price but not the session length, which is true of most of our facials. Call (317) 979-1234 and the front desk will confirm the appointment length when you book, so you know how much time to allow before whatever comes next.
